The sole and the string are soft; won't hurt your feet. Great for narrow feet; won't feel too loose like most flipflops. They might feel a little tight at first, but as you wear them, the string gets loose, without becoming too loose. the second knot keeps foot from raising too far away from sandal when walking, so they are stable, and good for longer walks too. They look better than most flipflops.

Review of Teva - Men's - Terra Fi 2

Men looking to buy a new pair of Tevas are faced with a choice of two models among the traditional rubber-sole styles.This model is a lot more expensive than the "Hurricane."It has a lot more arch support and a thicker sole in general.I decided to get this one because I weigh a lot and I believe it will give me better support for a lot of walking on sidewalks in Europe.

This is my fourth pair of Tevas.They do age and wear out eventually (they are not indesctructible).I am finally retiring one pair that I have owned for about 8 years because the sole is cracking and something sharp is sticking into my heel.My other two pairs have endured too much trauma (paint) to be worn as dress shoes in Italy.I am a size 10 1/2 and definitely recommend that men go up to next higher whole size.

I bought these sandals last summer in with yellow knotted straps and black foam.The Teva Mush Foam soon conformed to my feet nicely.The foam isn't too thick and is still very shock absorbent, so much more than a regular flip-flop. They also stay on my feet better than a regular flip flop, because the strap somewhat wraps around the foot, unlike a flip flop that you simply insert your foot into. They feel comfortable when walking on concrete or gravel surfaces, and on the beach.They also dry quickly, which is also nice for the beach. I wear these sandals all summer long (Arizona has long summers) to run errands and around the house and yard.The knots straps add a touch of cuteness to the sandals.This was the first Teva product I bought, and I now I'm a big fan.

Maybe a sandal with a strap that goes around the big toe will secure it on the foot a little better.One may consider the Teva Elina that has the toe strap. If I could, I'd give it a 4.5 star rating instead of a 4.Very comfortable sandal that is quick to slip on and wear all day.Highly recommended!

I have a pair of Keen Venice H2.They give me sweaty feet.

For my 4-day Oahu trip I needed a pair of water/land sandals for kayaking, hiking, and walking.After an extensive research and reading reviews, I decided on Teva Toachi and I was not disappointed (or vacation ruined).My feet was never tired or bothered while kayaking, hiking to the water fall, or walking on jagged and sharp volcanic boulders.

One thing though.Make sure you check out the close-up photos to make sure that the in-sole has no big holes and grooves.Some colors do and some colors don't.The ones with big holes and groove will pinch your soles.The ones with just pin pricks are the one to buy.The drainage works really well with the pin pricks.The sand will get through but once the sandals are dry, the sand will leak out.Another reason NOT to get the ones with big holes and groove besides pinched feet is that broken shells and bigger pebbles do get stuck in them.Your feet will feel them while walking and you will need to pluck them out using tweezers.

They are true to size and have moderate arch support.Your feet won't get sweating at all.They are cuter in person than in photos.They are also lighter than Keen sandals.

Highly recommend for water sports, boating, walking, and hiking.

I bought these shoes for a week long research trip to the jungles of Panama.These shoes held up to the abuse I put them through in the jungle and they also were very comfortable while walking through rivers.If worn with Nylon socks, your feet will be comfortable due to the drainage system on these shoes.One bad thing about these is that the sizes are a little smaller than expected.Usually I wear a 14, but in these I probably should have gotten a 15 (if they make them).I'm not sure how well these shoes would hold up to prolonged abuse, but for a week they had no problems at all.They're kind of low cut so if you're doing something with chances of slipping or climbing a boot may be more appropriate.Overall I am extremely happy I bought these shoes.

I ordered these sandals because I wanted some well made, comfortable sandals and it seemed these would fit the bill.I have had them two months and am very happy with them.They are quite versatile.The feminine styling looks good with shorts, jeans, or casual skirts.They are incredibly comfortable, particularly in the heel area.They had more cushion then I expected.The "cork" part of the name made me think they would be along the line of a birkenstock footbed, but they weren't.In my opinion they are more comfortable then birks.They do not have a "toe bar", that doesn't bother me, but I know some people like that.If you ever have heel trouble, that's where these sandals are excellent because they are quite supportive there.The only thing I do not like is the ankle strap design.I have a sort of high instep and the strap doesn't quite meet all the way to the end and it leaves a small bit of velcro exposed, but probably not everyone would have that problem.I would be prepared for some shipping confusion if you order direct from Teva like I did.They sent me some other woman's sandals as well as my own.They had put my shipping label on both boxes.Inside the box was the other woman's address, so I sent them on to her.I knew it would probably take forever for her to get her shoes if I sent them back to Teva.The shoe itself is very good and I do recommend it.

I needed a comfortable shoe for summer boating, as well as everyday.
Loving yellow, I saw these in a store, and immediately went to Amazon where I found them cheaper.They are actually very cute; I've worn them to work, are made with a material that prevents odor, and can be worn all day.I would say they run perhaps a half size smaller; I wear a 6 1/2 to 7.I got a 7, and while my big toe goes to the end, it doesn't hit, as the shoe tilts up and is roomy at the end.Love the look, and the feel.I plan to buy another in a different color.The vendor used by Amazon was prompt, courteous, and efficient, and I paid no shipping or tax.

I would definately recommend these over any other knock-off brands.

These are outstanding shoes/sandals.I am very hard to fit because my feet are very wide near the toes, so I always dread buying shoes.I usually have to buy shoes and extra 1/2 to 1 size too large to deal with my wide feet, but these fit perfectly in my true size.Great roomy toe space!I couldn't be happier.I'm planning to buy at least one extra pair in case they phase these out.

ADDITIONAL UPDATE:JUNE 2009.I took these as my sole shoes on a three-week trip to Greece.They're great, but the soles (on both!) started to come off!I was able to glue them, so I got by, but I was very disappointed to have that happen on these expensive shoes.HOWEVER, I'd still give 5 stars because Teva is replacing them.It only cost me the $10 it took to ship them to Teva.Great customer service rocks.

If you're looking for sandals that are not only functional but cool you need a pair of Teva's. My first pair Fi Sport Sandals I bought nearly 10 years ago. They still have a place in my closet when I want to go out kickin around or to do chores around the house. Their not pretty anymore and is the reason why I bought this new pair. My first pair was blue and now this pair have the green straps.

What else can I say - you can buy an el-cheapo pair of sandals for 20 bucks and good luck if they last through the summer. I can reasonably expect that these new ones will last 5 years but I know they'll be around alot longer.

I got an awesome deal on these and would have paid more!

Review of Teva Women's Ventura Cork 2 Wedge Sandal

I bought the Teva Women's Ventura Cork 2 Wedge Sandal in Ebony for $39.90 when it was offered during a Friday Sale. The sandal looks exactly like the pictures and is true to size. The cork sole provides good cushioning and keeps my feet comfortable walking on concrete all day. I also like the adjustability of the velcro strap closure.

My only complaint is that the heel bed is a little long for my foot so the slope downward didn't hit my arch in the right spot (I have high arches). To solve this problem, I put in a pair of Dr. Scholl's For Her Comfort Insoles with clear massaging gel, which stay in place and provide some arch support as well as extra cushioning and, because they're clear, they can't be seen when I'm wearing the sandals. I read on another site that the stitching near the toes bothered a couple of people so I also put in a pair of ball-of-foot cushions which cover the stitching and provide extra cushioning.

I probably wouldn't have paid full price for these sandals, but at $40 they're a real bargain if you're looking for a cute, sturdy, and comfortable pair of wedge sandals. If they came in red or beige like the lower heeled version, I would buy them in an instant.

This is my first pair of Tevas, and I am not disappointed. I have mostly worn cheap no-name sandals in the past, and I notice a huge difference in both the comfort and quality of these sandals.

I was originally going to get a sportier looking pair, but when I laid eyes on these I knew I wanted them instead. They are rugged enough for my jetty fishing and mountain-rampaging shenanigans, but go well with other clothes when dressed a little more..."casual-urban."

The soles have a noticeable springiness to them, and are extremely comfortable. The insoles have a sort of velvet/suede feel that I like. They also just happen to fit like a glove.

I've noticed shoe sizes tend to vary a bit between manufactures, but I ordered 10.5, and they seem to be dead-on with what I consider to be a proper 10.5 size shoe. I rarely give 5 stars unless something exceeds my expectations, and this gets a 5!

I have 4 boys and therefore I am always in the market for good sandals.These Teva sandals are very good quality and I have always had very reliable experiences with Teva.I have the Hurricane sandals for one of my older boys in size 3.They work great for him and are easy to use but my 4 year old who is a size 11 cannot get these on.The back strap does not adjust which is fine for bigger sizes because the strap across the ankle is bigger and can be pulled out much more.In the size 11 the ankle strap can only be opened a little so it is really hard to slide his foot in.Even with my help they are difficult to get on.For smaller feet I recommend the Tyro or Psyclone which works much better instead of the Hurricane.Other than that though the sandals are really great.

Review of Teva Men's Omnium Sandal

These are outstanding shoes/sandals.I am very hard to fit because my feet are very wide near the toes, so I always dread buying shoes.I usually have to buy shoes and extra 1/2 to 1 size too large to deal with my wide feet, but these fit perfectly in my true size.Great roomy toe space!I couldn't be happier.I'm planning to buy at least one extra pair in case they phase these out.

ADDITIONAL UPDATE:JUNE 2009.I took these as my sole shoes on a three-week trip to Greece.They're great, but the soles (on both!) started to come off!I was able to glue them, so I got by, but I was very disappointed to have that happen on these expensive shoes.HOWEVER, I'd still give 5 stars because Teva is replacing them.It only cost me the $10 it took to ship them to Teva.Great customer service rocks.
