Review of Teva Women's Pretty Rugged Leather 2 Sandal

I walk ALOT...about 5 miles a day, pushing 3 kids in a triple jogger. These sandals stand up to anything we put them through and they are super comfotable right out of the box. I have never experienced any rubbing or blisters any time I have worn these sandals. It's nice that they are a little more stylish in the leather too...you can go for coffee at the end of your walk and you don't feel too casual. I highly recommend these sandals. You won't be disappointed.

Let me start by saying I am a recent Teva convert and have so far loved the sandals and shoes I purchased. These however left me wondering how they got their good reviews. They feel quite "rugged" and stiff. I cannot imagine wearing them without socks. The straps chafe and these are the worst sports sandals I have put on my feet. Otherwise, quality seems pretty good. If you want a really comfortable Teva sandal I recommend Teva Volterra Alp sports sandal.

Review of Teva Men's Mush Flip Flop

I've owned a pair of these Tevas now for just over five years. I've traveled with them all over the place. Even after five years, they're still holding together very well. The construction is top notch. The straps are securely attached to the sole of the sandal and there's no indication that they're going to come off or tear any time soon.

A couple of caveats:

- The foam rubber that they use on the soles feels nice and springy at first. But they eventually compress and lose some of their cushiness. That's probably going to happen with pretty much any sandal of this type, and not with a sandal that has a more rigid sole, e.g. Birkenstocks. Still, the sandals are still comfy enough, even after the soles have compressed.

- The foam rubber, while flexible and comfortable, can be penetrated by sharp objects - nails, glass fragments, larger splinters of wood, etc. On a couple of occassions, I've felt something poking me and have had to pull out something that pierced through the sole. But they do fine on most surfaces.

That said, I'd by another pair in a heartbeat. And I probably will. After five years, I think it's about time to retire these puppies. So kudos to Teva; they've won me over as a customer.

Review of Teva Men's Terra-Fi 2 Sandal

Terra-Fi 2 (TF2) is the closest to the original made by Teva, however it does not measure up. Original used thick Spider Rubber (similar to rock climbing) that was durable and stuck to anything, the TF2 has a thin layer which soon wears through.

Ankle strap has neoprene to cushion, here's where we separate the engineers from the users. Seems like a good idea, however the cushion maintains water and sweat and keeps grit under it which grinds against the skin. Bad idea. The original was simple nylon which might not have been as comfortable if you were walking around the house in them, but for serious users it dried out quickly and shed dirt.

Strapping system is good, however breaks easily. This is unacceptable if you are using them for serious hikes. Plastic which holds the three rear straps together is cheap.

When dealing w/ customer service for replacement I had to hound them and finally wrote to the head of Teva.This only took 3 letters and as many months for a reply, and what a reply..it's questionable if he graduated from high school.

Very sad that such an outstanding shoe and idea have become just another sandal to wear around the yard.

Review of Teva Men's Dozer Sandal

Back in the day, Teva's were the only really good sandal out there. Then along came Birkies, Naots, Keens, Crocs, Merrells(still love them) and a bunch of others.

I was at a shoe store in St. Augustine with the intent of buying some Keens. I tried them on and a few others and noticed the Dozer. They were pretty sharp looking and I slipped one on. Couldn't believe how comfortable they were. Great arch support and good sole. I have the brown pair and I wear them on hikes and around town. The sandal feels stable even with a backpack on.

I think I shall put them on now.

Review of Teva Women's Dozer Sandal

I needed a comfortable shoe for summer boating, as well as everyday.
Loving yellow, I saw these in a store, and immediately went to Amazon where I found them cheaper.They are actually very cute; I've worn them to work, are made with a material that prevents odor, and can be worn all day.I would say they run perhaps a half size smaller; I wear a 6 1/2 to 7.I got a 7, and while my big toe goes to the end, it doesn't hit, as the shoe tilts up and is roomy at the end.Love the look, and the feel.I plan to buy another in a different color.The vendor used by Amazon was prompt, courteous, and efficient, and I paid no shipping or tax.

I would definately recommend these over any other knock-off brands.

I ordered these sandals because I wanted some well made, comfortable sandals and it seemed these would fit the bill.I have had them two months and am very happy with them.They are quite versatile.The feminine styling looks good with shorts, jeans, or casual skirts.They are incredibly comfortable, particularly in the heel area.They had more cushion then I expected.The "cork" part of the name made me think they would be along the line of a birkenstock footbed, but they weren't.In my opinion they are more comfortable then birks.They do not have a "toe bar", that doesn't bother me, but I know some people like that.If you ever have heel trouble, that's where these sandals are excellent because they are quite supportive there.The only thing I do not like is the ankle strap design.I have a sort of high instep and the strap doesn't quite meet all the way to the end and it leaves a small bit of velcro exposed, but probably not everyone would have that problem.I would be prepared for some shipping confusion if you order direct from Teva like I did.They sent me some other woman's sandals as well as my own.They had put my shipping label on both boxes.Inside the box was the other woman's address, so I sent them on to her.I knew it would probably take forever for her to get her shoes if I sent them back to Teva.The shoe itself is very good and I do recommend it.

Review of Teva Women's Mush Flip Flop

My family has been buying these shoes for years. They are so comfortable and it feels like walking on a cloud. They form to your feet after about a week of wearing. The only problem is you have to replace them after about a year if they are your only shoe. They eventually flatten out a bit. But, for the comfort, it is a small price to pay $20 a year for comfort like this.

Review of Teva Women's Hurricane 3 Outdoor Sandal

I just bought these, and I have been very pleased with them. I have a number of pros, and a few cons about them.

Pros--they are very comfortable. I think when you look at them, you assume you will get a blister right away, and would need to break them in, but you really don't. They are broken in after a couple of hours, and I have never gotten a blister or any redness on my feet. This is my second pair of them, and I can also say that they are very well made and durable. They are good for rafting/canoeing, or just wearing around at a summer street festival, etc. Very versatile--they are "go anywhere" shoes. My old pair would get a funky smell that I'm sure all Teva owners could relate to, and I washed them about once per week (I wore them everyday). So far, this new pair with the anti-microbial technology has not started to get the smell. I'm not sure how long that will last, but it has held up for one month so far.

Cons--they make your feet sweat a little. They also are not terribly attractive.

Sizing tip: I usually wear a 7.5 in women's shoes, and a size 7 fits me perfectly.

I bought a pair last year at an outdoor clothing & supply store and was hesitant to pay the price.(I am usually hard pressed to pay more than $5 for a pair of flip flops!)Because of the unique criss-cross design and the reputation of Teva sandals, I gave in and bought them.These are the MOST COMFORTABLE SHOES I OWN, even including my tennis shoes!

*** You may want to choose a larger size because they come in whole sizes only.I wear a women's 7 or 7 1/2 and I had to buy a size 8 in this shoe.***

The design of the straps makes them stay on your feet well (and gives you a cool, funky tan!) and the thick sole molds around your feet to make them feel like they were made for you.After a year of pretty much continuous wear, my first pair are still holding strong!They have gotten pretty dirty because I sometimes wear them when I garden so I bought a second pair for less dirty activities.They come in so many different colors, you really could try to match an outfit, but I have a pair with black sole and blue design on the straps and I wear them with everything.I HIGHLY recommend these shoes!

The new teva Hurricane 3 look the same as older models but is not as comfortable as the old models.They use less rubber and less cushion, that mean it will not absorb the shocks on impact. I really like Tevas but saving the planet will not save your feet from hitting hard on the ground.
